Finally, the ministry of health is allowing tours in accordance to the rules that have been set, and I am happy to invite you for a first tour along Jerusalem's most spectacular route. A walking trip from the Mount of Olives to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher
The tour departs from the Mount of Olives, with the uplifting view of Jerusalem from the east, to the Valley of Josaphat, Gethsemane and the tomb of the Virgin Mary. From there we will ascend to Lion's Gate, Santa Anna Church and continue on to the Via Dolorosa, "The Way of Sorrows" or "Via Crucis". It is, according to Christian tradition, the trail along which Jesus carried his cross, from his Judgement, to the place of his crucifixion, which is now found in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
The tour lasts about 6 hours and includes a lunch break. Please bring water, comfortable clothing and hiking shoes.
I will give you the tour, David Steinberg, a certified tour guide and art teacher, specializing in Jerusalem history. The tour is conditional on a minimum number of participants.
What will you get? A visit to distant times in a fascinating world, an hour away from home, no flights!
